Classification: 1ÖTW (Premier Cru)
The vineyard is southwest-facing and is located in the southern foothills of the Manhartsberg mountain range.
The soil consists mainly of non-calcareous, siliceous brown earth with a sandy, slightly silty consistency and a significant grit content over a mica-schist bedrock.
The grapes were biodynamically grown grapes under the Respekt certification. They were harvested in October and subject to whole bunch pressing and fermentation with natural yeasts. Maturation took place in both stainless steel tanks and large oak barrels.

CRITIC RATINGS
"Good complexity, juicy, white vine peach, finesse-rich acidity, lemony touch on the finish, elegant and persistent, very easy drinking style." (Peter Moser, Wineguide 2017/2018)93 Falstaff
This has been built for the long term, but the intensity of dried herbs and baking spices on the nose is already very impressive. Breathtaking energy and precision on the very mineral palate. Very long, tantalizing finish with stunning complexity.
Hearty dishes such as pork ribs or schnitzel
