This Blaufränkisch, in its pure, varietal form, is relatively new to the Pöckl range. Aromas of concentrated blackberry confit and a fine spice of tobacco and balsamic vinegar. Ripe, dark cherries, subtle oak notes, and well integrated, ripe tannins on the palate. The finish adds a refreshing salty minerality.
